Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy light orange color, medium sized slightly creamy white head. Aroma has malts, light to moderately hoppy. Taste malts, hops, lightly fruity, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

Black with no head. Aroma of burnt malts and also some sweet red fruit. Flavour is similar with some coffee notes up front and a background that has some sweeter fruits in it.

A kind of slow gusher with an ever expanding soapy head. Pale blond colour. Aroma of yeast and pale malts. Flavour also has some bready, yeasty notes together with some candy sweetness and light sharpness of grapefruit.

Lots of roasted malt in the aroma. Flavour has bitter, burnt malts and coffee. Not particularly strong with the taste of vanilla. Very smooth.

Tap @ Van Moll. Hazy orange colour with a small, vast white head. Smells hoppy, fresh, ’green’. Tastes fruity, apricot, hops, fresh, nice. Drinks very smoothly and easily. Great refresher/session ale/partystarter/whatever.

Tap @ Van Moll. Murky brown colour with a small off-whitw head. Smells malty, raisins, typical abbey double smell. Not my style. Tastes sweet, slightly roasty, some coffee, slightly raisins. Tastes better than expected, I don’t really like abbey dubbels and this smelled like one. Thin to medium body, highly drinkable, nice carbo.

Tap @ Van Moll. Pitch black colour with a small off-white to beige head. Smells coffee, vanilla, vanilla icecream, roasty, some chocolate. Mostly coffee though. Tastes coffee, roasty, dark chocolate, some vanilla. Only 4.6% abv! Medium body, soft carbo.
