Nara Relaxin’ IPA Micro IPA 3.5% 25 IBU Clear gold with a fragrant hop bouquet from the azacca, hull melon and simcoe. Nice head of foam, medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel which is surprising considering the ABV. The malts are a bit low/not so noticeable but the hops shine with lemon and lime. Very crushable and well made. An exemplary session ipa.

No hops in this one—is it a beer? Estery nose with lots of rice notes. Sweetness comes through strongly. Would not have guessed at a 12% abv

Nice. Slight spiciness to it. Got that clove saison thing going on. Not sure where that comes from. But it’s not full on and it is balanced by the hops. Not 100% sure. But it’s quite nice.

Snagged the last cab of this at Isetan yesterday! Nara Brewing Angle 6% 22 IBU American-Belgo-Style Ale Mellow brassy gold with dense rocky foam. Soft hoppy aroma featuring sharp citrus and subtle melon notes. Medium bodied but very crisp and dry. The flavor delivers big Belgian spice notes. Really nice and it reminds me of some KBC beers I’ve had in a similar vein.

Nara Cookin’ American IPA 5.5% 40 IBU Clear gold with a thick head of foam and a great classic piney west coast ipa aroma. The body feels a touch light and finishes very dry. Sweet pine up front then woodsy and earthy. Not complex but a good drop.
