0,15l from tap at Arrogant Sour Festival. Yellow very hazy color, small white head. Smells ginger, spices, leathery. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of ginger, gingerbread, doughy, earthy, citric, bit herbal. Finishes dry and lightly dry sour with notes of ginger, xmas spices and earthy notes. Nice one 7, 4, 7, 3, 15

5000th rating. Bottle. Almost clear gold with a white head that doesn't last long. It seems this is made with 2mt beer and Rizza - Jura-style Riesling. Not at all clear from the label whether it's a blend or co-fermented or whatnot. Aroma is funky and spice with lime and mineral notes as well as some apricots. Pine nuts? The funk starts off dry brackenish then forest floor and then bog. Properly wild. 8+ Slightly slippery, lowish carbonation. The beer bosses the grapes - and bread, mellow stone fruit and spices are set off by the lime and funk. There's a little sweetness but the end is fairly dry. There's a brooding sourness but little if any bitterness.

Bottle. Clear deep red, no head. 3+ Aroma of lovely berries, bracken die-off, oak, crispbread. A bit of body, very low carbonation (which suits it just fine). A balance of berries, brooding sourness, and oak that worked very well for me with a little plate of Jamón and Comté - the food picks out the top fruit notes and the acidity. Very good. If the dry hopping did anything it certainly didn't register with me.

Bottle. Cloudy straw, no head, moderate bead. Aroma of fresh and some cooked apples, flowers, slightly cheesy funk. A fair bit of body, moderate to lowish carbonation. Sweet apples at first, then dries out a lot towards an end where acid starts to sharpen. Pretty good, avoids the thinness of some dry ciders but perhaps at the slight cost to piecing apple flavours.

Cask at Tom McHugo’s. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a fluffy tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has earthy grains and dark bread with a bit of stone fruit underlying. Flavor has tart stone fruit throughout with a bit of funk and dark bread supporting.

On tap at Lincoln Hotel, Carlton, VIC (Australia). This is the AMBER version. Pours said colour with tight beading. Bread and vinegar nose. Very tart with solid malt underpinnings. Close to Rodenbach Red yet more complex. Worthwhile.

Bottled, at AndySnow tasting. Hazy orange colour, rich lively head. Intense funky nose with barnyard, stable and manure. Dry with medium body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Minerally with grapefruit peels, barnyard and hay. Mid bitter finish.

On tap at Avenue Pub. Pours a cloudy ruby with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is cherry skin, spice, oak. Thin body, funky, cherry, oak, tart finish, very good.

Brewed August 22nd 2015, bottled October 17th 2015.
It pours a hazy(unfiltered) orange gold massive head of foam, good lacing and lots of bubble action.
The smell is of citrus lemon, wheat, earthy aromas, cloves, some acetic sourness. Overall vibrant smell.
Lemon citrus taste up front, acetic sourness, wheat that comes across to me as earthy, other fruity tartness. Being 3 years old, I don't pick up much of what the Galaxy hops bring to the table.
Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
Excellent aged but makes me wonder what a fresh one tastes like.
Edit: Edit: I'm still sipping and just now realized that there's a healthy infusion of Brett in the finish.
