Pours gold with a large lasting head.Nose shows soft pine and resinous hops along with sweet-smelling clean malt and a bit of nectarine.Flavours include more pine, some spicy hops, delicate clean malt and an assertive bitterness in the slightly non-descript finish.

Can at roast dinner spot in St Kitts, Melbourne. Almost geuze like funk and sweetness on nose. Flat, lame look. Nice instant West coast ale vibe but it disappears quickly. Very good low abv (early July 23).

Can. Lovely clear brown with a 2cm beige head. Aroma is earthy and nutty with biscuit and caramel. A little chocolate in the taste too. Are the nuts a bit singed? Enough bitterness at the end. Easygoing with a bit of character and richness.

Can. Very dark brown with a cm of tan head that fades quickly. Roasty and nutty with that earthy light roasted coffee aroma of wattleseed. And that softens the texture of what is otherwise a fairly dry and intensely roasted stout. Dark chocolate. Mostly roasted bitterness at the end. Lots of presence for 4.5%.

Can. Pretty much black with a beige head that fades to a fat coat. Aroma of coffee, roast, some cream, pepper. Some chocolate in the taste too with roast and bitterness whisking through at the dry end. Misses that tiny magic note in Guinness (which this is unabashedly an attempt at) but the brief richness is nicely done.

Got to this one pretty late, I suppose. Even heavily discounted it's only appealing due to the Into the 'Wood track record. Unclear orangish amber with a white head that's soon at the rim. Aroma is woody, spicy and funky with lemon and what could be berries or grapes. A swig confirms it's definitely not past it - creamy and a little slippery, bright and fleshy (peach, lemon) fruit before a drying oaky and peppery finish that's slightly bitter mixed with old lemon sourness. Good, sophisticated.

Pours slightly hazy gold with large white head.Nose shows floral hops, peach and nectarine.Flavours include more floral hops, slight citrus notes, a bit of stonefruit. Gentle light malt behind.Carbonation seems a little high

Can. Cloudy pink with a cm of white head. Good raspberry aroma with fresh hairy berries, some leaves, twangy wheat behind. So it tastes - the berries are nice but don't quite overmatch the Wit and the wheat and spices are complemented by the slight tartness as well as sweetness from the berries. Refreshing and very well balanced.

Can. Very dark brown with a loose beige head. Mild roasty aroma with cola, raisins. Perhaps a little more roasted presence upon a taste with weak syrupy chocolate, only hints of dried fruit. But enough bitterness to tidy up. Can't say this reminded me of panettone at all but it's OK.
