A Frankenstein beer that got better as I drank it. It does feel like two beers brought together. There's bourbon, raisins, chocolate, caramel, lemon and biscuit. The lemon is more prominent on tasting, accompanied by the raisins and chocolate. I started not knowing what I thought about it, and finished a strong fan. Tasted after the demise of Deeds. RIP to the greatest.

Strong aromas of apricot, orange peel, toast and mint. The taste includes apricot, caramel, salt and grapefruit. Perhaps a touch overly sweet, but a very nice IPA that hides its 8.8% pretty well. Drunk after the sad demise of Deeds. RIP to the greatest.

A very pleasant nose with passionfruit, lychee, pineapple and dry biscuit. But it's much dryer and citrusy in the mouth, with only a hint of that passionfruit at the beginning. Bit of a shame really.

This one grew on me after a slow start. It has a very unique aroma of peach, grass, pepper and lemon. Nice, full body although that peach disappears in the mouth. A good pale ale. A great one when you consider they're selling it for $5.50 a can!

I wonder whether Deeds will get in trouble for marketing to the youth. Can. Almost clear pale amber with a good cm of white head that lasts OK. Slightly shy aroma of kumquat, pine, breadcrust some herbal and grapefruit notes. Just medium bodied. More pine needles than pine, some herbal notes along with mostly tenor register citrus. Bitterness builds to pretty strong. A bit of a throwback but that's fine since it's a good one.

From a 440ml can on 12/1/2024. Pours an opaque medium golden with almost no head.Has a light citrus nose. The taste is heavily citrus on the sip, with zesty orange dominant. Has a very tangy, decently bitter finish. Silky body with average carbonation. Doesn't really scream ot cream to me, but solid enough.

Can. Black with a good cm of tan head. Roasty mocha aroma with some honey, rum and pine. Bittersweet with lots of dark chocolate, strong bread. Roasty and fairly bitter finish. Good.

From a 375ml can. Pours an ever so slightly hazy deep golden with barely any head. Has a modest aroma of ripe stone fruit. Sweet stone fruit presents on the sip too - apricot and a sash of peach. Has a light bitterness at the back, though the finish is quite sharp, warming and a touch boozy. The mouthfeel is a touch syrupy with carbonation moderate and softish. Not at all unpleasant and quite drinkable for the size, but a little bit forgettable.

Canvent. Dark brown, inch of tan head that fades. Yes, smells like sticky toffee pudding with sauce. Dunno if that's what I want in beer, but it smells good. Sweet but not overwhelmingly so with singed toffee, vanilla and cream. Just a little bitterness at the end is really the only hint that it's a beer. There is no indication that it's a stout. Good for a folly.
