(Can) Pours opaque, somewhat lumpy, orange with no head. Lovely aroma of orange with notes of pine. Smooth medium body with fine bright carbonation. Great taste. Plenty of hops. Fresh fruity start, mostly orange. Resinous hop flavour steadily come to fore leading to a nice hoppy bitter finish. There’s some sweetness too but the malt character is very much in the background. Very enjoyable.

(Can - 2024 Variant - canned 09/11/24) Pours black with big tan head. Strong aroma of chocolate, caramel, coffee, oak, notes of alcohol and hints of marmite. Great mouthfeel. Full bodied and very soft and smooth from the finest carbonation. Taste is complex and well balanced. There’s plenty of sweetness balanced by plenty of bitterness. The sweetness is milk chocolate and caramel. The bitterness is burnt sugar, dark chocolate, black coffee and notes of soy sauce. There’s oak and alcohol notes too. Very nice although some of the bitter notes are a little aggressive.

(Can) Great looking beer - pours black with big toffee coloured head. Impressive aroma - bourbon, chocolate, dark toffee, vanilla, maybe a hint of marmite. Amazing mouthfeel. Full bodied, thick, smooth and sticky with some fine carbonation. Taste is also amazing - rich, complex and well balanced. There’s toffee sweetness, a nice alcohol burn, bourbon, dark chocolate, notes of tea and spices and a good bitterness in the finish. Amazing.

From a 440ml can on 20/11/2024. Another Deeds beer arising from their temporary 24/25 reprieve. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a small head. The nose is very much orange juice like. Tastes of orange, peach and apricot with a moderate tangy bitterness. Has a silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. A different style of hazy but satisfying and well done.

From a 375ml can on 11/10/2024. Was surprised to see a new Deeds on the shelf given the announced cessation of operations. But I looked up the web and found out operate for a brief period overcoming months before pulling up stumps for good. Nice to have an unexpected extended farewell. Pours a reasonably clear deep golden with a small head. The nose is mainly ripe stone fruit. The taste is intense up front and quite sweet, with apricot, peach, orange and pear, leading into a sharp resiny bitterness featuring a touch of citrus rind. Presents quite boozy with the 12% not really surprising. The palate is chewy and a bit syrupy, the carbonation average. A somewhat unusual but very satisfying huge IPA.
