Can. Very hazy orange with some particles. White head. Shyish aroma of nectarines, grapefruit, menthol, light bread. Much more vibrant taste with lots of nectarine, some citrus and herbs, firm bitterness.A little overt alcohol. Pretty good.

From a 440ml can on 21/4/2024. Pours a hazy golden with a smallish head. Has a modest citrus and tropical fruit nose. Tastes quite tangy with orange most prominent, along with some peach and passionfruit. Has a tangy, mildly bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Solid enough without really standing out.

Can. Clear amber, fat coat of off white head. Aroma of singed biscuits, floaty floral and spicy notes. A little earthy. Slight roast but mostly rather plain toffee sweetness. Somewhat punchy spices at a moderately bitter end. IIRC the similarly Dr Who themed Bigger on the Inside had a more assertive finish that I liked a little more.

A deep dark imperial stout with a very thin brown head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, light vanilla, light licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light vanilla, light whiskey barrel, light woody notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Smith Street Taps.

An interesting day to try this one, which says We wanted to share this beer with as many of you lovely people as possible and have worked with some of our favourite suppliers to make it lighter on the pocket. This appealed because it does buck the trend of pale ales and IPAs hitting $A16. But also Deeds is the latest to enter voluntary administration and seek a revaluation of obligations that will enable them to continue. It's worked for most, so here's hoping. Can. Fairly cloudy orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma is floral with citrus and peach, green berries, crackers. Dryish with crackery malt underneath mostly citrus at first before spicy berries come through towards the fairly bitter finish. Vibrant with an interesting finish but perhaps slightly thin.

Nose shows floral, herbal, earthy and spicy hops along with biscuity and cookie dough-like malt.Flavours include more of the same malt, but without excessive sweetness, delightful. Also supporting earthy and herbal hops.

From a 440ml can on 28/2/2024. Pours a hazy medium golden with a small head. Has a slight stewed fruit nose. Has a bit of restrained citrus and grape sweetness up front with a reasonably strong pithy bitterness at the back. Silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Solid enough but doesn't really blow my hair back.
