From a 440ml can on 8/5/2024. Cracked on the very sad day that Deeds announced it is ceasing business entirely - one of an increasing number of Aussie brewers in financial strife or going under. Pours a murky deep golden with a smallish head. Has a sharpish citrus and tropical nose. Tastes of mandarin, passionfruit and grape, with a spicy bitterness at the back that balances things out nicely. Silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. A very good and quite bold hazy. These guys will be missed.

Pours slightly hazy gold with a large white head. Now shows floury wheat, coriander, orange peel, doughy notes. Flavours include more doughy notes giving it a Belgian pale ale character, followed by more orange peel and a touch of coriander.

A beautiful imperial stout with vanilla, bourbon, toast, vegemite and coffee leaping out of the glass. Smooth mouthfeel with the chocolate more prominent and the bourbon a bit more restrained.

Can. Gold with a good inch of white head that fades gradually. The surface - or roof - of a liquid is flat, so that's one Bauhaus principle ticked off. Bready aroma with flowers and spices. 7+ So it tastes. Very briefly rich with stinging spicy bitterness that perhaps arrives just a little soon. Somebody really loves lagers at Deeds.

Aromas of licorice, chicory, chocolate, plus a little caramel and lemon. It's more chocolatey in the mouth, but that licorice and chicory is there, perhaps with a more molasses-y presentation. Like it, but don't quite love it.

Can. The full brownish orange murk a with a small white head. Orange, stone fruit and menthol aroma with light bread. Gentle apricot and orange at first, then a rush to a finish with a fair bit of of hop burn. A bit of a miss.
