I was actually drinking the Deeds Lamington Ale in a 440ml can at 5.5%. So slightly different recipe, by the looks. The aroma's close to the mark - coconut, chocolate, vanilla cake and I swear I even get some jam at the end. There's a slight citrus bite in the taste, plus more of a cocoa chocolate flavour. Very enjoyable.

From a 440ml can on 30/7/2024. I’ve said it before, but this may well be my final Deeds rating. Cheers guys. Pours near black with a medium to big head. The nose feature strong milk chocolate and almond notes. The taste follows suit, lots of milk chocolate and almond. A good dash of vanilla, with just a handful hint of Milky Way. At the back, it’s sharp and lightly roasty, taking the edge off the moderately strong sweetness up front. This is extended by a lingering bitterness in the finish. Has a lightly creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. A really rich, boozy, nicely balanced, enjoyable dessert stout. Vale Deeds.

Aromas of chocolate, coffee and dry chocolate. There's a little fruit sweetness and citrus in the mouth too. A very enjoyable stout.
