Poured from 650mL bottle (from Capone's Liquor - Powell River; 2024 vintage). Clear copper brown with small beige head. Toffee malt, cognac, feint esters and dried dark fruits. Decent.

22oz @ 🏡 with Ryan (thx, man!) and Alex.
Aroma: sweet, caramel, dark fruits, some brown sugar, has some Belgian character.
Taste: along the same lines.
Overall: not bad.

473 ml can. Pours a copper color with moderate foamy head. Aromas of dry pine, soapy guava, dull citrus and bready malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on malts. Nothing really wrong though malts may be overshadowing the hops. In the end, just big malts and a bitter finish. Not in line with other wonderful Numbskull variants.

473mL can, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is full of rich caramel malt and sticky resinous hops—very malt-heavy. Flavour is extremely malty, almost syrupy, with sticky resinous hops, overripe melon, and some unfortunate herbal/vegetal notes. Too malty and odd hóp expression. Far from my favourite Numbskull variant.

473mL can. Pours clear gold with a white head. Pine, mango, and lots of caramel malts on the nose. Flavour is thick and malty, lots of overripe mango, and some resin. Very malty, erring on the side of syrupy. Brutal and uncoordinated.

650 ml bottle. Pours a deep reddish brown with light head. Aromas of sweet caramel, raisins, a bit of maple syrup, and bready malts. Subtle and sweeter flavors follow same, with a touch of oak; but not getting any real cognac. Nice enough, though a little disappointing.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma is somewhat hot, with gentle cognac, bready malt, and some toffee. Flavour is surprisingly integrated but not complex, with bready malt, toffee, and a touch of cognac. They literally dumped cognac in here, eh? Legally side, it doesn’t really work, but it doesn’t kill it. Alright.

Amber brown colour. Thin head. Messy aroma with a bit of bubblegum, caramel. It's got phenols, strength but it's kludgey and doesn't come together. If you imagine some cognac it's there, but again it doesn't really come together.

650mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a white head. Aroma is generically malty, not much going on here. Flavour has dry caramel malts, a bit bready. Not bad, but nothing really going on here.

Hazy yellow pour, huge, extreme foamy head. Aroma is tart, slightly peppery, with some light fruity, sour notes. Subtle lactic flavours and a solid rhubarb flavour in the end. The finish has next to no bitterness with a great tart rhubarb flavour. Bright and easy drinking.
