Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond colour, clean. Aroma of hay, some malt. Mild malt flavour, the mouthfeel is dry but round, the bitterness is ok, but the hop character is just slightly herbaceous, no high quality noble hops were sacrificed for this beer.
It's better than macro, it's drinkable, but it's nothing to dream about.

650mL bottle, bottled Jan 7, 2022, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma reveals lots of piney hops, sticky resins, and a bready caramel malt backbone. Flavour is piney and resinous in the hop department, with moderate bitterness, light-to-medium sticky resins, and an appropriate bready caramel malt backbone. Good hop-malt balance, with very pleasant hop expression. Still quite enjoying this series. Excellent old school west coast IIPA.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear mahogany colour with light head. Aromas of dry caramel, raisins, candi sugar and bready toasted malts. Flavors of bread crusts, minerals, dry orange and raisins. Dry, warm alcohol finish. Brand barrels not really apparent - at least for what I think should be brought out.

Bottle from Dollarton LRS, North Vancouver
Clean amber color, medium head, compact. Mild aroma of piney resins and light husks. Full bodied, but just gently sweet, with delicate caramel flavour, the hopping is herbaceous and resinous, with a finish of bitter orange. Old school, but done as good as it goes.
