Keg at the brewery, 18/02/15. Extremely dark mahognay brown with a moderate tan swirl and edgeing. Nose is tangy dark fruits, red berry, cocoa, toffee. Taste comprises sweet’n’sour vibes, lactic ring, spice, dark malt, chocolate notes,dark fruit rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style, a touch sour ... @intentional?

Taste comprises orange, light floral notes, pale malt, straw, bready pangs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a noble hop linger. Ok for style.

12 oz can purchased as a single at Wine & Cheese, If You Please? on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The pour is a hazed brown copper with a one inch well formed tan head. The aroma is tangerine citrus hop, resin and caramel malt. The taste is the citrus resin hop up front, followed by some dry floral and nutty malt. Some toast character as the beer warms. The palate is medium to light bodied with fine active carbonation and the resin floral dry finish. Nice, fun and unique.

Can at Jeds bustin Brorino at pool (I think?), 18/02/15. Golden amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is light skink, earthy hops, bitter citric peel, grapefruit, melon, pine. Taste comprises floral notes, light booze, bitter orange, grapefruit, passionfruit, caramel malt. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a little boost. Ok, lacking a bit comapred to the high rollers in this style.

Taste comprises chocolate, light spice, toffee, light wood, subtle bourbon barrel, Christmas cake. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok barley wine, pretty rich stuff but far from a great.
