Edge Brewing is an award winning and pioneering craft brewery in the city of Barcelona and is very active in festivals and events relating to the craft beer movement.

Draft at The Partisan. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light straw notes, some funky yeast notes. Flavor was light straw, funk. Pretty tasty.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy pale orange, nose is yeasty, citrus, spices, taste is dry, yeasty, spiced.

Keg at CASC. It pours hazy orange with a decent white head. The nose is big, juicy, tangerine, mango, toasty grass, floral and brioche. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, straw, pepper, earth, citrus rind and floral with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable. Solid gear.

Keg at CASC, Aberdeen. It pours black with a small beige head. The nose is creamy, rich roast, earth, big coffee, chocolate, parma violets, plum and cake. The taste is bitter, rich roast, big hit of coffee, espresso, earth, cocoa, ashy, toasty brown sugar, sugar plum and milk chocolate with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty, big coffee and rather good all round.

Keg at CASC. It pours cloudy orange with a small white head. The nose is toasty, bready, brioche, spice, cracker and cereal. The taste is crisp, bitter, toasty, cereal, farmhouse loaf, toasty grass, orange and grapefruit rind with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and crushable. Not much to it, but a very drinkable anyhow.

Sehr dunkelbraunes, fast schwarzes Bier mit einer schönen bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, sehr schokoladig, Kaffee, leicht erdig. Geschmack sehr schokoladig, etwas Kaffee, viel Röstmalz, Vanille, sehr lecker!

Nice saison. Citrus and hay dominates aroma here. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Light tangy and bitter finish. Great balance. Nice hint of underlying florals. Tap at Churchkey.
