Appearance: semi-bright yellow color with a sly transparency about it and a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet wheaty to floral qualities up front with a light candy to bubblegum-like sweetness in the middle then a subtle clove to woody spicy underneath part
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to slightly spicy toned quality; finishes semi-crisp with a rustic sort of woody spicy edge to it
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; light smoothness along the tongue with mostly nothing blocking the flow; good carb level
Overall: pretty nicely done Grisette I would return to.

Aroma: wet grains; floral hop notes; lemony sweet to tart tones; sweet wood and some rustic to earthy character
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to subtle tart quality; finishes semi-dry with a light earthiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of some tart nicks to the tongue - mostly non-aggressive
Overall: not a bad saison that seems to lean towards a tart/rustic one. I think I could come back to.

Appearance: glossy burnt yellow almost orange color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: all about the Key lime in this one - sweet to bittersweet and a touch of tart; soft clean malty underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet to slightly sweet quality - super subtle tart but that seems barely there; finishes mostly bittersweet with a touch of Key lime in there
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness with nothing bothersome anywhere; good carb level
Overall: nice enough to come back to but probably not the best one of the series

Aroma: slight pineapple to mixed citrusy and piney notes; light clementine zesty tones; soft clean malty underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet to slightly zesty quality; finishes mostly bittersweet with a balanced clementine zesty hint
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness with a little bit of zest which provides a little bit of zing at the tongue but not too much - just enough to tell you it's there
Overall: I dig this one and would welcome it again if I could.

Growler to becher glass.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: black coffee, milk chocolate, molasses then light hoppy notes of citrusy to grapefruity tones
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty to bitter quality; finishes semi-dry with some roasty to citrusy notes
Texture: medium to full bodied; great sipper! not as much smoothness as I was thinking was going to occur and some "palate wrecking" capabilities; good carb level
Overall: on it's way of being a really good to one of the great ones of the "black IPA" realm.

Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: black in color with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: black coffee, sweet oats, cocoa powder/baker's chocolate, slight vanilla bean further down in there
Flavor: pretty much blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet and slightly roasty quality but leaves out that vanilla bean part; finishes mostly sweet with a light roasty note to it
Texture: medium to full bodied, great sipping quality to this; great smoothness with nothing distracting anywhere; great carb to it
Overall: a very nicely done impy oatmeal stout I would surely seek again if I could.

Growler to becher glass.
Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: orange juice; some piney hops; subtle lemon notes; and a light clean malty backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality and really comes across like orange juice as it finishes the same way
Texture: light to medium bodied, very sessionable; good smoothness with nothing distracting the flow; nice low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: if you didn't notice the hop bitterness assertiveness, you'd think this was orange juice. Yes, I would return to this if I could.

Aroma: sweet grassy/hay/straw tones; some pomme-fruits, light notes of white pepper; floral hops and a little bit of the sweet side of a Belgian yeasty whiff
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to subtle spicy quality; finishes semi-dry with an edge of spice to it
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of Belgian yeastiness seems to be getting a little spicy to hit the tongue
Overall: I say a pretty nicely done Grisette I believe I could come back to.
