Can to becher glass.
Appearance: muddy burnt orange haziness with a finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy hop notes with a light papaya sweetness and mild earthy hop sweetness; light clean malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a mellow bittersweet quality; finishes semi-dry with a stifled papaya and almost mango tone
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also nothing there distracting; average carb level; medium hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: not a bad IPA but also not exactly as "expressive" as it could have been; did the Kolsch yeast get in the way? I don't know enough.

Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: pumpernickel bread, dark chocolate, sweet roast, a touch of vanilla and some campfire smoke
Flavor: meld the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet bready to vanilla and chocolatey sweet quality; finishes semi-dry with a touch of rye and a touch of vanilla
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of some nicks from the rye to the tongue - mostly non-offensive
Overall: pretty nicely done rye porter I would return to.

Aroma: sweet orange flesh with dark chocolate bitterness and a touch of the sweet from the chocolate
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes semi-bitter with a touch of the orange sweetness
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also a tight drying effect nipping the tongue ever so slightly
Overall: mostly a pretty good impy pastry stout worth coming back to.

Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-bitter quality; finishes semi-dry with a light mixed citrusy to mango-like tone
Texture: light to medium bodied; slight sessionability but there's a light silty to almost chalky tone along the tongue - mostly non-distracting but it's semi-noticeable
Overall: some of that "silty to chalkiness" needs to be cleaned up in this beer for this one to be a great one.

Appearance: dark orange color with a little bit of a "chill haze" to it and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: peachy sweet to subtle tart tones then some light notes of white pepper with a light bready malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine peachy sweet quality as the spicy/peppery tones seem to be pushed further back than in regular "Foreign Objects;" finishes not as dry as "Foreign Objects" as the peachy sweetness offers a kinder blend and the spicy tone is way more toned down here
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; smoother than regular "Foreign Objects" as the peach seems to cool down some those spicy notes; good carb level for the beer
Overall: I dig this variant of Foreign Objects as I believe I would return to this.

Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which trailed off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy to piney hops clamp down on a roasty to bitter dark malt base allowing some black coffee notes and a light cocoa powder coming about for more balance
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bitter and subtly roasty quality; finishes dry and roasty with some light cocoa powdery sweet tones
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some dry smoothness as some of the hopeful "palate wrecking" capabilities come about as I wanted them to - maybe not to the strength of some other noted "black IPA's" but I'll just say this is about "medium to almost full strength"
Overall: for the most part, I'd say it's a pretty good black IPA I believe I would return to.
