Pours dirty deep orange-tinged gold into an English pint. Nitro head with medium retention recedes to coat surface. Pine and citrus aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and citrus peel upfront turning to earthy pine and mango in the medium length finish. Somehow better than the sum of it's parts.

True to style. Creamy and smooth. Easing my way into Saturday night. Dark chestnut with foamy beige head. Nose is dried fruits and toast. Tastes of pumpernickel toast, fig, caramel. All subdued of course. Mellowed me right out after an epic tantrum my 2 year old just threw.

Bottle pour, 500ml. Dark cola color, wispy head. Light boozy notes. Port, vinous notes. Smooth with a little alcohol heat aroma, but a lot more heat on the finish. Very warming.

Pours hazy bronze into an English pint. White micro head with excellent retention recedes to two-finger head. Creamy with sourdough, caramel and earth front to back. Becomes a little cloying a buttery as it warms docking a couple of points.

50cl bottle I bought at Bunker in 2019, pours a crazy dark black, the color of a black hole, thick ring of brown head. Nose has rubber, burnt malt, burnt caramel, just burn. Flavor is malty, sweet, less char here, molasses, carob, some booze. Full bodied, oily finish.

16 oz. can. Aroma is orange and malt. The earthy pine comes through the citrus in malt. This is very old-school and is on the malty side. Easy enough to drink.
