750ml wired cork bottle from RAD Beer. Demi-sec, 2021 Vintage at 3.5%. Opened with a loud pop. Clear pale golden colour, big white foam head that dissipates and aroma of fleshy apple, fruit, caramel. Taste is sweet, juicy apple, fruity, some flesh, caramel, funky notes, with balanced acidity and mellow drying tannin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, medium sweet tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is deep funk , barnyard, musty, light mature, apple skin, crunchy apple, touch of melon, pear drops and damp oak. The taste is crispy, dry, bright, snappy, sweet - sour, ripe apple, dried apple, melon, pear drops, white grape dry oak, tannin, touch of fizzy sherbet, funk is more mellow than on the snout and leathery apple skin with a shirt, dryish finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Quite bright, fruity and funky. Moreish.

Bottle. Slight hazy golden. Nice farmyard funk, sweet apple, light straw, apple peel, leathery. Medium sweet. Medium bodied and medium dry. Lovely!

Relatively cheap 330ml single @Appalachian. Mojito glass @home. Heady & loud pour. Clear, vibrant, orange amber brew. Smell is heavy on that classic French smell of sweet, sweaty-musty bittersweet apples, with very pedestrian hay funk & sulfur. Bittersweets apples, sweet-tart & pronounced tannic skin, minor hay funk, leather & lots of lingering Asprin bitterness. Lingering earth & pith. Frothy, juicy, semi-sweet; keeved? Good, if a little simple. All-star for the price.

Sparkling golden colour, foamy white head that dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of apple, fruity, funk. Taste is sweet, fruity, apple, fleshy, with some caramel notes, hint of funk and bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
