Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is vanilla, apples, barrel funk, pretty bretty. Taste is sweet apples and barrel upfront, super dry and minerals in the back. Sparkly carbonation.

330mL bottle, pours a clear bright golden orange with a large white head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is loaded with barnyard funk, musty dry apple skins, and champagne-like effervescence. Flavour is wonderfully funky, with loads of barnyard funk, champagne-like effervescence, leather, tannins, and nearly bone dry apple skins. Funky, champagne-like, with assertive carbonation. Excellent by the books funky French cider.

Bottle pour at Capitol Cider, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of barnyard funk, bone dry apple skins, and some champagne-like effervescence. Flavour is along the same lines, with barnyard funk, lots of bone dry apple skins, and champagne-like effervescence. Complex and very nicely constructed. Excellent.

Bottle from SB. Clear golden with very brief white head. Nice, subtle bubbles. Aroma of barnyard, gunpowder, touch of sulphur and vanilla. Fruity apple taste with vanilla. Quite elegant so. No farts in the taste at all. Lingering apple skin. Nice!

Bottle shared. Almost clear deep golden with some lasting ring of bubbles. Quite some tannins, dry apple, soft juicy sweetness, dry pear skin, soft funk. Medium sweet and almost medium bitter. Medium bodied, solid medium dry. Quite some tannins and bitterness but nicely balanced and not too dry. I quite like this.

Bottle from SB. Clear golden with quickly disappearing white head. Fine bubbles, quite lively. Sulphuric aroma with oak and funk. Almost a touch of chlorine. Some apples. Very suble apple taste, funky. Apple skin. Dry AF, like chewing on chalk. Nice!
