Bottle from SB. Clear golden with very brief white head. Nice, subtle bubbles. Aroma of barnyard, gunpowder, touch of sulphur and vanilla. Fruity apple taste with vanilla. Quite elegant so. No farts in the taste at all. Lingering apple skin. Nice!

Flasche in Frankreich gekauft (Caen, The Box of Calva). Trübes Orange mit fingerbreitem Schaum. Aroma saurer Apfel. etwas am Bauernhof. Geschmack: Apfel, saurer Apfel, etwas bitter ein ganz wenig Schokolade, leicht vergort.

Bottle shared. Almost clear deep golden with some lasting ring of bubbles. Quite some tannins, dry apple, soft juicy sweetness, dry pear skin, soft funk. Medium sweet and almost medium bitter. Medium bodied, solid medium dry. Quite some tannins and bitterness but nicely balanced and not too dry. I quite like this.

Bottle from SB. Clear golden with quickly disappearing white head. Fine bubbles, quite lively. Sulphuric aroma with oak and funk. Almost a touch of chlorine. Some apples. Very suble apple taste, funky. Apple skin. Dry AF, like chewing on chalk. Nice!

Bottle, 2018-02 on cork. Color: Clear golden, white head. A lot of tiny carbonation bubbles. Aroma: Apple, appleskin, funk. Taste: Sweetish, over moderate sweet and very slightly tart ripe apples, some apple skin. Dry-ish mouthfeel, quite a lot of tannins. Some wood, some barnyard funk. Quite bitter, very dry finish, like chewing on the appleskin. Medium body, just under average carbonation. Ok.

Sampled @ BAF Rotterdam 2018. A clear deep golden colour, no head. Aroma of ripe mid sweet apples, sulfits. Taste of dry riped apples, sulfits, dry fruity finish.

Bottle sampled at Cider Cider, thanks. Bit hazy darker golden with short lasting white head. Medium funky, light apple juice, cow dung, earthy, light alcohol, apple peel, dead leaves. Under medium bitter, no sweetness. Almost medium bodied, bone dry.

BAF! 2018. Bottle pour from CiderCider, bottle vintage is 2016. Near clear dark golden with no head. Very dry apple and apple peel. Woody, dry almond peel. Drinking a wooden shoe. Hard dry apples. Super dry. Amazing. Moderate sweet and bitter. Light bodied and super dry. Soft carbonation.

75cl bottle from a new deli in Steenvoorde as ’Cidre Contentin Biologique Brut’. Pours a misty gold, aroma of very light cider apple fruit. Taste is fairly thin, lacking a vibrant fruitiness over bitter skin and cores. Thin, weak and not great at all.
