75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Misty gold appearance, small white head. Seems like this is quite possibly the last time I'll get to try Nevel. Pleasant wild air with soft peachy notes but, like many Nevel beers, not enough of the fruit addition shines through unfortunately.

Little cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy irregular head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very oxidized, very dusty, weird, woody, strange aromas! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, lemony, weird, bitter, a bit woody, oxidized, meh. I’m not a big fan of this one.

Batch# 5 – BB 10/2029.
Pâle dorée, légèrement voile, col fin blanc.
Arôme sur un bouquet fin fruité – pêche, marqué avec un léger funk plaisant en rétro-nasal.
Palais est finement suret, note de pêche fermentée et fraîchement récoltée. Pointe de funk, douceur latente fruitée qui tranche avec la base de cette bière qui se veut plus ‘sour’. Effet un peu velouté de fruits comme abricot/pêche.

Pours a light hazy golden body and a white head with little retention. Aroma's: sourish, white grapes, light funk, woody. Retronasal: sourish, light sweetish even, woody, spices (?). Flavour is moderate sour with light bitterness and a hint of sweet. Light bodied. Proper carbonation. Some woody bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange amber, dense and creamy white head. Aroma: Hay, tart, fruity stone fruit. Taste: Stone fruit, hay, floral, some wood and tannins, vinuous hints of white wine. Spicy hints. Over moderate tart. Bit creamy mouthfeel. Old hop backbone.Medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice complexity.

Bottle, not shared. Hazy deep purple with short lasting head, when pouring you can already teel it's quite ropey. Sweet grapes, sweet red wine, blueberries, blackberries, wheat, typical Nevel yeast, apricot. Medium sweet, less sour, light bitter. Medium bodied, drinks also a bit ropey so might be a bit better after a few months. Overall pretty damn nice.
