Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Nice herbal and floral blend. Including laurel and lavender. Taste: Following the aroma. A herbal and floral blend, including laurel, lavender, vanilla. A little greasy. (fig leaves?) Some Saison yeast and lightly hoppy backbone. Moderate sweet, some herbal and hoppy bitterness. Slightly tart. Medium body, lightly foamy mouthfeel. Below average carbonation. I like the complexity (mix of flavors) and balance of this beer.

Very vinous. Probably would like it more without the blackberries, as the grapes might've been enough. Would also be keen to try the malt-rich base beer which uses barley, wheat, rye, oats, and Emmer.

Medium white head over fully hazy orange-golden beers. Typical Nevel nose: floral, mild spices, and something refreshing as-but-not mint. Chlorophyl, and the camphor-like aroma from the sweet wormwood. Sourish and herbal/floral. Citrus, lactic acid, garden herbs (wormwood). Acidthinning and lightb-burn. Very well-carbonated, some slickness and a fine, almost wooly texture. And another little gem from this regretted brewery.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Herbal, floral, fruity notes and funky hints. Taste: Lightly tart and herbal bitterness, floral and herbal notes (fennel), subtle peppery hints. Combined with some oak wood and rural funk hints. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice, unusual blend. A good remembrance of Nevel brewery.

0.375 l bottle from 'Craftbeers', batch #3, 2024 vintage. Slow gusher. Hazy, dark reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, gently funky and vinous-fruity aroma of caramel, brett, leather, red berries, red wine and some oak. Minimally sweetish, quite sour, gently vinous-fruity and slightly funky taste of lemon, red wine, red berries, oak, caramel and a touch of leather, followed by a medium long, fairly tart, slightly woody-dry finish. Medium body, quite astringent and fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Probably my final ever Nevel brew, as interesting as usual, fairly complex stuff.

Bottle at home. But of a gusher. Bit hazy orange golden with big white head. Typical Nevel funk, light floral, vanilla, dandelions, beansy, oak, earthy, curry leaves. Quite complex with a lot of barrel though I would say sherry as first thing that comes to mind. They're were a few off notes at first but those went away after a few minutes. Good stuff, I still miss this brewery every day.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Fruity, plum, funky notes. Taste: Moderate to over moderate tart, oak wood, fruity yellow plum, wheat malt, rural funk notes, floral. Well balanced, nice complexity. Medium body, below average carbonation. Very nice.

Сена немного, мокрое дерево, есть зеленые ягоды, что то типо раннего крыжовника. Есть кислые ноты ягод и травы но не ясные.

Beautiful clear scarlet beer with a slightly pinkish white head, fast receding. Nice red/pink berries aroma, and some herbs (wild thyme?), wild yeasts, vermouth, cherries. Sweet cherry, if with the sugars all but removed (eaten). Wheat, and a very tart finish. I have to guess the blackcurrant, but it is more fruit than just cherry, especially retronasal. Warming up, it acquires a mild flavour of tonka beans. Acidthinning and some -burn. Soft carbonation. Not the top from Nevel - which still makes it a great beer. Txs to Stef!
