Poured from 473mL can. Hazy gold with dissipating white head. Mild bready malt with grapefruit hops and subdued tropical hops, lower end bitterness, touch of alcohol on the finish. Pretty good.

Jun 2021 rating: 473mL can, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Nose is soft, with lots of oats, dry cocoa, and a touch of sweetness. Flavour is hearty, with gentle cocoa sweetness and a hearty oat character that dries this out. Fairly light on the palate, even for a 5% stout, but the balance is very good. Nice stuff. I slighty prefer this to the nitro tap version I tried last year. Nov 2020 rating: On nitro tap at Main Street, pours a dark amber tinged dark brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma is quite smooth, with soft oats and bready malt. Flavour is creamy, with soft chocolate, bready malt, and hearty oats. The nitro is well-suited to this. Good stuff.

On tap at Main Street, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, plenty of floral hops, a little citrus tang. Flavour is on the tangy side, with a very nice hoppy citrus tang character upfront, a sort of vinous note, rustic saison yeast, and slight floral undertones. Really like the structure here, with excellent hopping. Surprisingly impressive.

Dark brown. Thick head. Light body. Mellow toastiness. Ok, a bit simple, but hits the spot for a basic oatmeal stout.
