On tap at R&B, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some bitter, floral dry-hopping upfront, with straw, and gentle crackery malt. Flavour is clean and bright, with floral hops, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Slightly more interesting than the average kolsch. Solid.

Dark brown pour, with a big sticky off white head. Very sweet malty aroma. Some cereals are present, some nuts, and minimal hops. Velvet mouth feel, soft carb. Sour finish, low bitterness, lots of metal. I guess this bottle of infected, cause the finish like i said is solidly sour.

Cask days 2012. Hazy yellow, small white head. The aroma is wild! Huge cucumber and mint with some light leafy hops, and some herbs. Lots of green herbs, particularily some mint (obviously) And what i think is basil. A tad watery, with low carb. Incredibly refreshing and tasty. Would be an incredible summer patio beer. Aroma of the fest.

Bitter vegetal aroma, lots of sharp spices, cinnamon, cardamom, and corriander. The flavor is again quite bitter, with a good dose of dry bitter hops. The bitter dry spices continue, and really dont let go. Very bitter dry finish.

Deep amber pour, BIg sweet caramel malt nose, very little hops. Flavor was full bodied, and again quite big on the sweet caramel malts. Touches of english hops in the finish, but nothing much else.

bottle from mgermani, thanks!
really nice dark ruby, brownish color, small off white head. Aroma is full of bananas, bubblegum, and lots of yeastiness. Flavour is very well balanced between the yeasty belgian flavours, and the maltiness. Such a great dubbel, one of the better ones i’ve had.

473 ml can. Pours a bright amber with moderate head. Aromas of dull fruity esters and soft toasted malts. Flavors bring out Belgian yeast and fruity esters with a little citrus and dry biscuity malts. Good.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark brown colour. Aroma of dark chocolate and vanilla. For being a pastry stout, the body is not very strong, but the mouthfeel is soft; the flavour is dominated by roasted malt and chocolate, coffee, then there is vanilla. I had to look again at the can to get what this was supposed to be, and agree that it doesn't remind me of a tiramisu.

16oz @ home shared with Alex (thx for the beer, man!). Appearance: brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: a bit of sweetness, roasted malt, chocolate. and some coffee with cookies. Taste: along the same lines, quite roasty, moderately bitter and sweet. Overall: ok.
