750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of heavy cocoa, phenols and dark fruits. Flavour is sludgy, with lots of fudge and coal. Too sludgy and thick, but still decent.

A reddish copper barleywine with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, catty hops, OK. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light vinous notes, treacle, light grassy hops, light catty notes, weird for a barleywine. Cask Days 2016.

Keg at Folly Brewpub. Murky bronze body with a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and bubblegum. Flavour of biscuit, tonic water and grass. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Light fizz. Quite dull but easy to drink.

Growler: Poured a pitch-black color porter with a nice brown color foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolates notes with some roasted malt and light residual sugar notes are pleasant enough. Taste is a mix between some light roasted malt notes with some intense black chocolate notes and light residual sugar notes. Body is full enough with good carbonation. Well done and quite promising from a new brewery.

Growler: Poured a cloudy murky blonde color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of juicy hops with grassy notes is quiet superb. Taste is also a nice mix of juicy hops with nice grassy undertones and light residuals sugar. Body is full with limited filtration and medium carbonation. Very promising brewery and very enjoyable beer with my only down point being a slight watery feeling in the aftertaste.
