New brewery! Brewery # 2244, USA # 1841, Texas # 33. 12 ounce can thanks to Jay J., 9/20/23. Thanks! Dark brown, large brown head, average retention. Aroma of roast, molasses, caramel. Taste is roast, coffee, nuts, caramel. Mild bitterness, well balanced.

I located a 12 oz can at a Dallas Total Wine a few months ago. A tripel with raspberry? Could be good or not so good. The label indicates 10.14% abv with 22 ibu. Curious. Keeping it in the Metroplex I have my Cowtown snifter ready to receive the tilt. I see a slightly amber going to gold body with a pillowy head of completely white foam. I smell raspberry, nothing else gets through. The taste is strongly raspberry, like I am surprised, along with some yellow fruit and grain. Mostly sour with a bit of berry sweetness. A head-scratcher. What is it supposed to be?

From a can. Pours a clear gold with a small off white head. Aromas of raspberries and toffee. Flavors are sweet with an effervescence.

From a 12 oz can from Total Wine in Fort Worth. Pours a clear dark cola with a big tan head. Aromas are smoky dark chocolate. Flavors are moderately sweet malts with substantial hop bitterness.

Clear, copper, extra frothy pint glass pour @ Grrrowlers. Veggie nose, extra ripe banana with some clove. Brutally sweet n messy. Coriander & honey, black pepper, lingering malt syrup, slight herbal doing nothing. Finish is peppery & inefficient at defeating how sweet it is. Ugh.

On tap at Thirsty Growler. Clear, amber, frothy goblet. Smell is slightly potpourri-ish, dried peach, copper, thin malt. Bittersweet, slightly rindy, peach candy burn, flat sweetness, lingering acid, dusty toast. Okay-ish.

Dark amber color. Malty aroma. Slightly smoky, woody malt sweetness. Caramel flavor with an earthy hop bitter finish to balance. Similar to a wee heavy.
