500 mL bottle poured. Vintage 2016. Bottle wanted this enjoyed after a year of age. I accidentally gave it 8, and found myself enjoying it more than enough to put tasting notes here pulling this out of rating hiatus for one evening only. A slightly cloudy golden appearance. Thin, a little flat, minimal head. Floral aroma with a touch of citrus and peach like fruit. Brett funk flavor is cooled in flavor, crisp tart front, barn funk, slight white grape like note late. A bit dry on the finish, slight acidity, with that long remaining wild tart note. Fun, funky and unique brew. I hope I have more from this series stashed away.

Bottle - hazy amber - smells and tastes like skunky hops, wood, and stale maltiness - it sounded too interesting not to try, but it’s not very good.

Soured woody notes with a touch of higher alcohols. Clearish copper with a decent white head. Utter, sweet caramel and a light caramel finish.

Bright amber. Thin head. Really vegetal aroma. The malts are a bit biscuity, toasty, but then it's a bit sweet and caramelly. I wouldn't know how to identify a plane tree here, but there's a heavy wood note, at least with lots of tannins.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy dark copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is fairly herbal, with gentle wood and British bready malt. Flavour is fairly bitter, with English hops, bready malt, and a touch of wood. Woody, English malt and bitter finish. Pleasant stuff.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Magnuson Cafe, Seattle. Bright golden orange appearance, most ean, oily thin head. Plenty of resinous Hop character here. Gritty front, but a cool and refreshing melon follow up. Classic IPA, but with a slight juicy, splash of refreshment, so I suppose a solid Summer IPA, a style I've heard for years, but never cared to define. I'm glad no flavor or Hop quality was sacrificed in the making of this IPA. Very enjoyable.

A really tasty brew enjoyed outside at the Magnusen Cafe and Brewery. I dont see myself ordering this style as much as I probably should. I enjoy them more and more each time I try one, and this one is a unique and interesting addition to the style. Copper red pour, darker than most, clean. Aroma is subtle, smooth grains, earthy, grassy hops. Flavor definitely has a sweet side to it, but I'm kind of glad it does. Ri h caramel, bready background, dank hoppy finish, all flavor, moderate to quiet bitterness. Smooth red, but plenty going on with it. A good half winter, half summer beer to go with this half winter, half summer weather we are having in Seattle. Tasty.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy orange gold with small off white head. The aroma is oak, berry, cereal, cherry. Slick body, light oak, tart berry, light dry finish, good.

500 mL bottle poured. An interesting, unique sounding ale, and it delivers in that category for sure. Clean amber pour. Really surprised how much wood character comes through in this lighter beer. Gives off a dry impression, but remains extremely flavorful. Has a moderately rich malt, caramel, and slightly chocolate even. Maple subtle, wood linger. A nice, unique brew to try. Enjoyed this.
