12oz can. Filtered orange-tan body. Thin white head. Kind of unappetizing brewhouse aroma. Crisp noble hop bite, earthy bland malt. Bright with some bitterness upfront, but doesn't really compare to a true example of the style.

12oz can brought back from TN by BenT. Medium bodied. Pleasant roast chocolate notes, but never sticky or heavy. Doesn't really have a German taste to me, but it is still an enjoyable beer. I could drink a lot of this, very sessionable.

Hazy amber with thin white head. Sweet bubblegum aroma. Flavor is bubblegum sweet followed quickly by astringent and spicy and funky finish. Kind of like a less hearty tripel.

Amber color with way too much foam, both cans exploded foam out of the top when opened. Less foamy from the tap at the brewery. Taste was unexpected mildly sweet, malty, caramel flavor with moderate hop bitterness. Much less hoppy than pale ales such as Sierra Nevada or Sweetwater 420. Mild hop bitter aftertaste.

Not a bad beer, as far as Mexican-style lagers go. There's a nice toasted grain element to the corn which adds depth, and the cerveza sweetness, while apparent, never dips into maize overload. Creamy undertones mesh with a modest floral bitterness, and hints of lemon, apple, and grass make for a decent finish. Much better than I was expecting.

Basic and yeasty, with a lot of white bread circulating among notes of biscuit and crisp, piney hops. Finishes with hints of apple, toast and a mild but lingering bitterness. Gorgeous pour comes red-orange with a lasting white head and good lacing. Texture's medium-bodied. Overall not bad, but not memorable in the slightest.
