Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dank and fruity hops, tropical fruits, citrus, touch of onions, weeds, pineapple. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Very nice! Going by the 005 and this one, Pirata is getting the Vermont thing pretty much right.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, huge Bourbon, oak, cocoa, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, alcohol, dried fruits, touch of marzipan and fudge. Flavour is quite sweet with some light bitter notes in the finish. Plenty of boozy Bourbon. Body is full. Fairly complex with tons (barrels) of Bourbon. Very good, heavy Bourbon...

Bottle from Stadsslijterij Groenmarkt, Zutphen. Took ages to pour, too much foam! Aroma is softly hopped with orange, malt, mild tropical fruits, and herbal notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a harsh bitter finish. Body is medium with an annoying overabundance of carbonation. A bit of a mess, rough, disappointing Lab series entry.

Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Aroma is sweet ripe fruits, pine resin, sweet malt, ripe orange, tangerine, some caramel, apricot, and spruce. Flavour is medium sweet with a long bitter finish. Some alcohol. Body is medium to full. Very sweet and resinous, with ripe fruits, enjoyable IIPA.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is fruity and resinous hops with citrus, ripe tropical fruits, orange, grapefruit, peach, pine resin, and soft pale malt. Flavour is under medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Fairly sweet IIPA with lots of ripe tropical fruits, citrus and peach, and pine. Quite enjoyed it.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, alcohol, dried fruits, notes of cognac, and more alcohol. Flavour is sweet and fairly bitter for the style, with sharp warming booze. Body is medium to full with a sticky mouthfeel. Too boozy for my taste, with some unpleasant sharp alcohol.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is fruity hops with orange, tropical fruits, grapefruit, mango, grass, some herbal notes, light malt and pine. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium with a little creaminess. Solid IPA with some NE characteristics.

Bottle from Hopt. Roasty aroma with plenty of cold coffee, espresso, mocha, chocolate, more coffee. Roasty bitterness, light sweet. Medium body. Nice Coffee Porter, hits the right notes.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is 'green' hop, citrus, oats, dank hop, tropical notes, grass. Harsh unpleasant bitter flavour with a shitload of sharp hop burn... Yuck! Medium body. Definitely the bad side of NEIPA, what a disappointment coming from La Pirata.
