Bottle brought back from a Barcelona beer shop - many thanks to Kevin! Pours hazy brown with a big, slowly collapsing, foamy, tan head; little lacing. Intense aroma of brioche (with raisins), ripe plum, candied fig, orange peel, cookie dough ('Grany' biscuit), green tea, amaretto, almond, dates. Taste is medium to heavy fruit sweet, lots of raisin, dates & plum, as if drenched in liqueur though; faint ripe pear renders it a bit phenolic, supported by a sweet bread-like malty base with a touch of salted caramel; light herbal bitter middle has tea leaves, spicy cinnamon & vague orange peel. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering raisin, dough, spices, and a firm dash of warming liqueur (almost amaretto) alcohol. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Lovely stuff to knock yourself out.

16-01-19 // taster at Gesundbrewing 2019 at The Castle Friedrichshain. Strong clinical alcoholic nose is the only offthing. The rest is a lovely BA IS. Full bodied. Loads of bourbon. Dark dark malts and coffee.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a roughish white head. Sweet, mellow tangerine aroma, pleasant. Kinda thick and chewy body, again tangerine and peaches with a subdued bitterness. Very juicy indeed. 170119

Bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di salamoia, acqua di oliva, acetaldeide. In bocca è dolce, cioccolatosa, leggermente caffettosa. Corpo pieno, oleosa al palato, carbonazione medio-leggera. Ossidata... già dopo qualche mese?
