Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is a bit of dry chalky malt. Flavor is again some neutral dry chalky malt. No real hops show up but the finish is a little bitter. Not much to this one.

Pour is a murky dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is a just enough banana bread. Flavor is the same just enough banana and dark bread to keep this interesting. Decent but not spectacular weizenbock.

16 oz shaker pint draft at Coaches in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is crisp malt, floral, and some straw. The taste is the clean crisp malt, softly bitter floral, the straw and touch of herbal to the back. Nice balance. The palate is medium to light bodied with active carbonation and a crisp dry finish. Solid, easy drinking beer.

On tap at KC Bier, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bread, caramel and light nuttiness. Flavour is rich and malty, with loads of toasted caramel, bready malt, some dark dried fruits, and toasted nuts. Malty, complex and rounded. This is bread.

On tap at KC Bier, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel, bready malt and a hint of toasted malt. Flavour is rich and malty, with toasted caramel, bready malt, and some residuals sugars that are appropriate. Malty and sturdy. Very good.

On tap at KC Bier, pours a mostly clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grassiness, biscuity malt and straw — very clean. Flavour is clean and crisp, with a very nice grassy hop character and crisp crackery malt. Smooth, clean, and crisp. That's one of the better German pilsners in the US. Excellent.
