Description
In April/May 2021 Brouwerij Breugem ended its relationship with Brouwerij Hoop and moved to a new location back in Zaandam. A re-branding was implemented in October 2021, and a number of beers were given new names. Breugem Brewery will also continue as Breugem Bier. For the past few years, Breugem has been a client brewer at Brouwerij Jopen in Haarlem.
In 2023, Brouwerij De Prael Amsterdam Houthavens was taken over, making the dream of having its own brewery and tasting room come true. Part of the production continues to be brewed at Jopen Bier.

Aroma of fruits, citrus, yeast. Flavour is citrussy and yeasty, light to medium sweetness with some bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit thin-bodied. An okay thirstquencher.

Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, some coffee, a touch of liqourice. Flavour is roasty, coffee, mild sweetness. Not as full-bodied as I’d like, but this is a fine Stout regardless.

Aroma of malt, light caramel, hay, some fruitiness, light hops. Flavour is malty caramel with a little bitterness in the aftertaste. A rather unremarkable and mildly hopped IPA, but I enjoyed it just fine.

Aroma of malt, caramel, fruits, sweet orange, grapefruits, hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a medium bitter finish. Body could be a bit fuller. Still, quite a tasty DIPA and definitely the best I’ve had from this brewery.

Original rating, as "Dark IPA". Badass looking bottle. Aroma of roasted malts, some fruits, hint of chocolate, coffee, hops. Flavour is light sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Carbonation and mouthfeel are good. Not the most hoppy Black IPA, but a nice beer regardless. *** Revisit, as "Stomp". Coffee and roasted malt, notes of chocolate, moderate to medium bitter. More on the malty side of BIPA, only light hoppy. Some nice notes of chocolate.
