Description
Bringing quality craft beer to the community in a bold and intentional way has always been at the root of what we do at Historic Brewing Company. We began in 2013 in Flagstaff, AZ with a strong purpose and drive to bring an unparalleled experience to the market, despite the limited knowledge we had of the beer industry. Although we had setbacks and challenges thrown our way, our relentless spirit has pushed us forward and helped us blossom into what we are now.

We have built our brand by expanding our production and distribution capabilities, elevating our tap room and establishing our Barrel + Bottle House concept in both Flagstaff and Williams. Throughout our spaces, you will experience mainstay brews such as our beloved Piehole Porter, seasonal favorites like Undercover Cucumber and unique limited-release brews that have a fan base of their own.

As we continue to write our own history, we strive to stay true to our core values that will drive our company forward.

22nd Oct 2018, Shrewsbury Beer Sharing Group meeting. 0.75 litre bottle, given to me by a friend and then in turn shared by me at the meeting. Poured a misty, dirty, dull yellow, wispy white head. Cooking apples came to mind, semi-tart with some aging white wine sourness. Not really my thing.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie. Thanks Jeremy for this. Pours misty unclear orange, thin white ring remaining. Aroma has some fresh wild funk, light sour. Good initial chardonnay grape, wild apple funk, pleasant sourness that’s not too imposing. Well-rounded gentle sour. Enjoyable start to the evening.

Chill haze and blonde, with a thick head. Lactic nose, wheaty, maybe a touch of yeast. Tart and lactic with a mellow wheat character. Reasonably clean but maybe a little too kettley for me.

Poured from 32oz crowler from the brewery thanks Stacey, black with a nice tan head. Aroma is cherry cola vanilla chocolate and light roast. Taste is delicious, a nice sipper where the flavors match aroma.

32 oz. Crowler from the brewery. Dark brown color, thin head. Aroma of Mild cherry and chocolate. Hint of vanilla. Flavor is a direct reflection. Almost a cherry cola character. Body is medium. Pretty decent.

Taster at the Grand Canyon Winery. Pours black, with a big, foamy, tan head. The nose is espresso beans, light jam, roasted peanuts, and molasses. Sweet and lightly bitter. Medium to heavy body, with a sharp, sticky feel. This is a nice, lightly fruited porter.

Taster at the Grand Canyon Winery. Pours a clear, orange color, with a medium, whitish head. Strong pine aromas, with some orange zest, vanilla, and toast. Not very sweet, with a strong, sticky bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a sticky, sharp mouthfeel. This is a solid, aromatic IPA.

Taster at the Grand Canyon Winery. Pours a clear, pale yellow, with a big, foamy, white head. The nose is saltine crackers, resin, and syrup. Sweet, with a light bitterness. Light body, with a watery, sticky feel. This is reasonable, but a bit weak and dank.

On tap at the Grand Canyon Winery. Pours a clear, pale yellow, with a big, frothy, white head. Strong cucumber aroma, with some rosemary, pine sap, and honey. Sweet and crisp. Light body, with a clean, watery feel. This is interesting, but not that tasty.
