Bottled. Clear, deep copper with a beige head. Aroma has roasted malt, peat-smoke, caramel and some cocoa. Roasted flavor with caramel, coffee and some floral hops. Medium to full body and a roasted finish withj some hops. Nice. (060825)

Clear dark amber body with a huge creamy off-white head. Sweet caramel and fruit aroma. Sweet caramel flavor, some gentle hops.

Bottle. Amber beer with a nice off-white head. Citrus and earthy/grassy aroma. Slight citrus and earthy flavor with good malt backing. Decent hop flavor, but not very bitter. Easy to drink.

Das Bier wird, oh Freude, mit Stickstoff gezapft, daher wirkt es auch schal. Lecker. Außerdem habe ich es am Belhaven Stand direkt einmal zu kalt gezapft bekommen. Super. Ansonsten: röstmalzern-fruchtig und wässrig. Wech damit. Test vom 13.8.2006, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 15,5,6,9,-,6 - 7,26

Bottle: Dark amber to chestnut brown, medium-sized off-white, stable head, lively carbonation; distinctive fruity nose (ripe exotic fruit); sweet flavour with the faintest bitterness in the background, medium bodied; sweet fruity finish with traces of chocolate and toasted malt (a tinge of smoke...???)and only the faintest illusion of hops in the aftertaste.Well rounded, well hidden alcohol, warming. GOOD !

Cask@Cask & Barrel, Edinburgh. Pale yellow color, creamy steady white head. Sweet, wheaty and honeyish hoppy nose. Grassy hoppy with good malty background. Very drinkable considering it’s only 3.4%.

Style 63/70 500ml bottle. Nose of caramelly malt, with a bit of ruit, and a very tiny smokiness. Amber color with a small beige head. Caramelly malt taste with a bit of smokiness from the malt and a little hop bitterness that lasts into the finish.
