75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan 19. Thanks Jeremy for this! Pours very dark brown, medium off-white topping. Aroma sees some roast, dark malt, tobacco. Taste is smooth with an interesting melange of styles, some dark fruits, smooth malt, a little roast, coffee and leathery tobacco, subtle bourbon.. all jostling for attention at times, but makes for an interesting, complex sipper.

28th Jan 2019. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. 0.75 litre bottle brought by me. It came to me via a friend who's sister lives near the brewpub in Florida and they between them gifted it to me. It's a lovely blend of dark, rich and interesting flavours married together skillfully to give a wonderfully rounded barrel aged smoothness to the three boozy brews this is produced from. Thanks Ant and Jackie, I owe you one!

Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Some notes of caramel malt and pretty drinkable albeit pretty light. Good dinner beer that won't fill you up.

Keg at the brewpub, 22/02/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malt, straw, lemon rind, rather thin. Taste comprises citric peel, lemon rind, straw, vanilla, light bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre golde, cask would have suited this on better me thinks.
