Tap at the 7th Vriendenbock. Nincs nekem bajom a funk-kal, sőt, még az egyébként váratlan helyeken, indokolatlannak tűnő alapsörökben is kifejezetten kedvelem, amennyiben tudatosan került oda. Ez simán csak fertőzött volt, ami lehet, hogy nem a főzde hibája, de az élményt alaposan elrontotta.

0.33 l bottle @ home, from Beerlovers, Vienna. My first encounter with the style, so it’s a hundred percent subjective review. Pours deep brown with persistent, beige head. Nose is fruits, chocolate, malty-grainy with hints of honey. Sweet in taste, with hints of chocolate, fruits and grains. Finishes with long lasting, warming sweetness. I quite liked it.

Bottle at the hotel in Bussum Zuid. Pours deep golden with thin white head. Pleasant wit with a light, but nevertheless full body.

Tap. Deep amber, thin head. Nose is prominently bitter bur there’s some definite malty touch to it too. In taste it’s pretty much the same, huge piney kick with some malts to balance it. Light bodied with lively carbo. Strange, I remember disliking red IPAs, but this one works somehow.
