Tap. Hazy, amber color with a skim of a head. Aroma is caramel and spruce. Taste is rather hop forward for the style. Not great.

On tap pours out hazy golden color topped with a sand head. Nose is nice hops floral some rye grain maybe. Taste is more of the nice hop grain malt combo.

Draft from Craft Brewed in Nashville, TN. Pitch black color with a small tan head and good retention. Not a very classic stout IMHO. Medium mouthfeel. Medium body. Too much molasses flavor and not sweet enough for a milk stout. Meh.

All those fancy ingredients to make what, if tasted blind, I’d guess was a basic American ESB. Caramel, apple, corn, and bread, with a mild bitterness on the back end. Eh.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear honey gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Belgian yeast forward nose with some banana and clove aromas that stand out. Some light candi sugar on the nose and palate as well. Body is a touch thin and feels light compared to most tripels. Still for being labeled a tripel, the flavors are very close just lacking in depth and body. Watery finish with some more yeasty esters and lingering clove.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a glowing, straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers throughout. Estery Belgian yeast nose with lemon and light dill notes. Lemon and grassy hops on the palate, cracked malt and light pepper on the finish. More lemon zest towards the end as it warms. Fairly dry with some light sweetness at the end. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wizard Sauce on 13 Jul 2018 at 21:43 - Score: 7. Okay stout, offering up a solid dark chocolate front paired with a deep roasted java back end, but the middle brings out a heavy cherry undertone that dominates the finish of the pint, overly acidic and distracting from the wanted stout richness. Looks decent, pouring a dark, dark brown with red edges. Nose is mild, roasted mocha notes backed by a milk chocolate undertone. Good feel, light but formidable enough to remind you you're drinking a stout. Eh.
