Bayern Brewing is steeped in the rich tradition of Bavaria, a region renowned for producing the world’s most famous and sophisticated beer. We brew our lager beers in strict accordance to the German Law of Purity (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516. That means no berries, adjuncts, artificial carbonation, or other strange ingredients are used in the process. All you will find in a Bayern beer is malted barley, yeast, hops, and water, and the experience of a Bavarian Masterbrewer.
All Bayern beers are fully matured, a process that takes up to four times as long as conventional ales and at least twice as long as mass-produced domestic lagers. Bayern employs state-of-the-art equipment to produce quality standards unsurpassed in the micro brewing industry.

Bottle: Lighter amber color is transparent with a very minute white head, no lacing. Aroma is light hops and lagerish malt. Taste is mild malt, grassey, and hints of hops. Watered down a bit? Not very impressive.

Clear dull gold colour, though there is a lot of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Light aroma of apples and pears plus a hint of wheat and vague phenols. The body has some zippy carbo, is fairly heavy but yet not sweet. It seems to have quite a bit of hoppy bitterness for the style. A slight lemony, bubblegummy note is the main feature. Dry finish. Not a bad drinker overall, despite not hitting any particular marks.

Bright yellow. Light but balanced aroma of continental hops and pale malt. Herbal hops, moderate bitterness, and light pale malt flavour. Reminds me of Veltins.

Draught at Concordia, Portland. Clear dark ruby. Crystal malt aroma. Sweet with thick, yet hard mouthfeel. Papery and syrupy. I thought doppelbocks were supposed to display a rich malt character and soft mouthfeel, and here we’ve got a doppelbock with shitloads of hard, bleeding crystal malt. Give me a break!

Bottle Poures a cloudy very pale yellow/amber. Very small white head that imediately dissapears, and leaves only a few spots of lacing. Aroma is of pale malts, some hops and a sweet apple or peach note. Falvor is consistant, not so noticable hops, and a slightly tart fuit flaver. Feel is smooth and carbonation in this one was almost non existant. Aftertaste is a soft malty flavor with traces of honey.

There appears to be a genre I will call "tourist beer" that is sold in the Yellowstone area. The National Park and the many fine trout stream attract those who this beer is marketed to. This is one of the weaker ones. If you took a Brown Ale, a Pale Ale, an American macro lager and mixed them all with water you'd come out with something like this brew. It just doesn't go anywhere. Rogue contract brews "Yellowstone Ale" It's the one to seek out.

Has winter melon and honey in the nose. The deep brown elixir gives has a nutty body with hints of bitter fruit juice, but unfortunately little to no aftertaste.
