33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Berlin. Bottled 11.02.2016, BBE 11.02.2018. Lots of foam when pouring. Aroma has sweet toffee candy, perfume and apricot. Flavour has sweet toffee candy, plastic tones, alcohol, mild pear esthers and hints of menthol. Perhaps a bit too boozy but interesting still. Most likely the best German tripel I’ve had.

Lahev(75dl): Deep, deep ruby amber coloured, medium-sized and slowly collapsing tanned head; coffee, burnt malt and dried berries in the nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not without a certain acidity, pretty light for a beer of 7.5, at least quite soft; roasted and caramel and thin chocolatey in the more dry than sweet finish. Not bad, but way too thin…

Bottle, shared at a beer tasting @ Beer Temple - thanks Peter for providing these beers. Hazy dark brown color. Thin, dense beige head. Aroma’s: malty sweet, light vegetables. Retronasal it’s herbal, sweet, something weird. Flavor is moderate sweet, some fruity sourness (red fruit). Body is a bit thin for the ABV. Finishes with a bit of a weird flavor. Not so nice.
