On tap at Princeton. Deep mahogany red color. Small creamy beige head. Slight nutty malt aroma. Bittersweet toasted malt upfront. Light biscuit and brown sugar nuances. Low carbonation yields a silky smooth mid taste. Light bitter peppery finish and aftertaste. Very nice.

750ml bottle pours a clear amber with some spitty, white head. Nose is interesting, sweet apples, a little apple cobbler, some peach, white grape. Flavor has a ton of fruit, peaches, apples, poached pears, vegetal. Fruity finish. Almost a little brandy like.

Tap at Triumph, PHL, 30/11/13. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is orange, light spice, floral notes, hop presence. Taste comprises toffee, wheaten bread, light honey, bitter orange, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, lingering hops in a dry closure. Ok stuff.

Tap (nitro) at Triumph, PHL, 30/11/13. Mid black with a good sized tan head that retains well, full glass lacing ensues. Nose is dark malts, light roast, subtle pumpkin notes, spice, liqourice, treacle toffee. Taste comprises earthy cocoa, molasses, pumpkin pie, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate - a la nitro, drying finale with a little sweetness. Ok stuff, when adding this beer I felt there was a good dose more porter qualities over the pumpkin (spice herb veg) and being 7.6% went down the imperial line.

Tap at Triumph, PHL, 30/11/13. Very lightly hazed golden with a moderate light beige covering that retains well. Nose is spice, toffee, light citrics, dark fruit, raisens, sweet notes. Taste comprises caramel, corriander, lemon rind, yeast notes, bread dough, sugars, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, very lightly warming booze in the closure. Ok tripel.

Tap at Triumph, PHL, 30/11/13. Almost clear chestnut brown with a moderate off white covering that retinas well. Nose is dark malt base, brown breas, rich caramel notes, sugars, pinch of spice, treacle toffee. Taste comprises Belgian yeast notes, toffee, spice, light booze, fruit cake, dates. Full bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, nice feel, lightly warming alcohol in the finish. Ok Belgian.

Tap at Triumph, PHL, travel 3,500 miles to be rewarded with a friggin Golden Blonde, 30/11/13. Hazed golden yellow with a moderate off white head. Nose is bread dough, honey, straw, bread dough. Taste comprises soft bread dough, honeycomb, lemon rind, wheaten loaf. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry crisp finish. So so.
