Tap at Craft Beer Market Toranomon. Dark amber colour, small thin golden head. Aroma is fruity, lots of booze, brandy, Danish pastry, brown bread, marzipan.Taste is really cakey, fruit, booze again, quite unusual, some sweetness hidden in there. Doesn't feel so strong. Full body, but quite easy to drink. Very unusual, but quite nice.

Bottle. Amber coloured, not much head. Aroma is grapefruit and tropical fruit. Taste not so much, bit milky, slight bitterness. Rerate at Keyaki. Nice, wheaty, good bitterness. Lemon, easy drinking. Good malty spikiness. Nice stuff. Has it changed or have I?

33 cl bottle @ olio. Bottled 19.1.2018, BBE 19.5.2019
Aroma has stuffy malty tones and vanilla. Also sweet berry juice tones. Flavour has malty tones, some sweet berries. Finishes with some tartness, sweet malt and grapefruit. Too acidic for my taste.

Tap at Molto Beer Stand. Cloudy orange-gold with a tall head. Fruity nose, estery but more orange and cherry than banana, a bit sugary. Quite sweet indeed and very fruity, estery, citrus and stone fruits. Nice enough, but too sweet for me.

Tap at Takumiya. Hazy orange-golden with a big, tight head that quickly fell to lace. Lovely citrus fruit nose (Cascade hops), lightly tropical, peaches, thought there was more than Cascade in there. Biscuity, helles-like soft malt. Great biscuit/crackery malt character, very German feeling except for the hops, nice fruit. Full body, perfect for winter. The hops are lovely and not overdone as most American brewers would do. Not an IPL, just a hoppy helles. Excellent.
