Tap at Takumiya. Lovely hopped up nose, crisp crackery malts, herbal and lemony. Rich malty base, not overly sweet, not boozy, great hops. This is so drinkable and delicious. Not quite like a bock, but a hoppy strong pils without the booziness so often found in this style.

Keyaki fall 2016. Light fruity nose with some grainy, grassy character. Easy drinking but without much character. Good carbonation. Forgettable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kaigun-san no Bakushu Kolsch on 20 Sep 2016 at 22:26 - Score: 6

dark brown color. Big coffee, slightly sour and chocolatey nose. Light body tons of roasted malts. Just light body, but underhopped. More like a hoppy Porter but still enjoyable.

Pale golden color. Grassy hoppy slightly. Body is a bit unbalanced and could be drier by great bitterness. Refreshing. Dry bitter finish. Nice stuff

Deep russet color. The nose is very muted and boring. Lots of cherries, chocolate and apricot notes in the mouth, full bodied but under hopped. Not that well balanced, but depth wasn’t bad.

Keyaki 2016 Spring. Nice citrusy nose with some light pine and lemon zest. Well-balanced with an average body and medium carbonation. Malt and hops are really well-integrated. Slightly juicy with a bitter finish. One of the surprises of Keyaki this year for sure. Very well-done straight-forward IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kaigun-san no Bakushu IPA on 15 May 2016 at 13:34 - Score: 7

Tap at Kamikaze. Deep gold with a lacy head. Solid pilsner like malt in the nose, citrus hops, grass. Rich malt flavor, nice peppery hops, citrus and grass. Very nice lager.

Tap at C&R. Beautiful looking weizen. Big clove, banana bread aromas that are very enticing. Light lemony notes on the palate. Creamy mouthfeel with a hint of tartness. The finish has lots of peppery hops with a touch of herbal. Great stuff from Kure. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kaigun-san no Bakushu Weizen on 22 Apr 2016 at 20:58 - Score: 7. Original review text: Great weizen. Hits all the notes with peppery hoppy finish! Great.

Tap at C&R. Almost nothing on the nose, maybe some light biscuity malts. Sweet on the palate with an overly bitter finish. Dry and yeasty. Why even make this? --- Beer merged from original tick of Kaigun-san no Bakushu Shimanowa Beer on 22 Apr 2016 at 20:56 - Score: 5. Original review text: Sweet on the palate with an overly bitter finish. I hate blondes.

Thought I’d already had this, on tap at CBM Mitsukoshimae’s Anniversary shared by TimE. A cloudy milky honey gold with a honeyed biscuit flavor. Ok enough but not so memorable
