(Bottle, 2018 vintage - a sample, at Pien Shop, 20250718) The beer poured amber and clear. No head. Aroma had wood, malts, sourness and fruits. Palate was medium bodied mouth watering and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were tartness, fruitiness, nectarine, sourness, honey from malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was dry, tart and bitter. A pleasant combination of fruits and the tart beer.

Drunk whilst my chicken wings are smoking, under the new mini pergola to keep my grill dry in rain and snow. Medium gold, no head, sour and slightly funky nose. Flavor is smooth, notes of stone fruits and apple. Moderate sour character, not overwhelming, maybe a 6 out of 10 on the sour which is a good spot to be. Moderately complex, very tasty.

Bottle.

A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, off white head.

A- Apple skins, hay, funk, dust, barnyard.

F- Hay, funk, oak, dusty, lemon.

T- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, funky finish.

O- Okay, lots of funk and perhaps a touch unbalanced. Drank it with about 4 years of age. No doubt that played some factor.

750ml.  Murky gold with a ring of white head.  Nose pops with de cam.  Stinky.  Green.  A little plastic.  Green grape pops.  Hugely stinky and funky.  Straw.  Very full in the mouth.  Drinks every but of 7.5%.  Tart and bone dry.  Well balanced.  Cider feels like it's in the back seat, but otherwise this is exactly what's it's supposed to be.  Huge stone fruit.  Reminds me of fresh Fou Foune.  Exceptional.  8 9.5 9.5 9 9

Bottle shared at the June DCBeer share. Poured a hazy golden straw color. Flavor was funky and vinous with tart apple, buggy notes, and green grape skin. Complex and beautifully funky.

750mL bottle, pours a clear bright golden orange with a large white head. Aroma is hugely fragrant, with tons of barnyard funk, lots of hay, and a touch of citrusy notes. Flavour has tons of barnyard funk, moderate hay, citrus, and petroleum jelly. Finishes moderately funky, with plenty of dry petroleum. Excellent.

Pale amber, with haze. Weak head. Good aroma, lemony, a bit of leather, and a sort of pear note. It's got a slight sweetness up front, but it gets quite dry in the finish. Light bugs, mellow fruit.

750mL bottle. Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Tons of funk on the nose; old furniture, mildewy upholstery, and must. Flavour has a lovely old musty character, woody, some tannins, mildew. Super complex and tons of funk. This is excellent.
