SBS with the Chardonnay. This one has lots more going on, vinous, floral deep red wine. Juicy tartness, drying at the end

Отличный ламбик. Весьма сухой и травяной, кислота при этом весьма сильная и долгая на финише. Немного не хватает сена. Есть четкие зеленые яблоки.

Bottle at "Johnny's got a new place" beer celebration. Unclear dark orange to rusty red color, full sized rough off-white head. Aroma is a mix between sweet apricot and nectarines and oak, wood, horseblanket and funk. Flavor is lovely balanced, also between sweet fruit notes and tart grapepeel notes with oak coming through as well. Very nice.

Weicher, holzig säuerlicher Beginn. Voller Körper, intensiv, sehr weiche Bitterkeit. Minimale Karbonisierung, reife Aprikosen, cremig, eher trockenes Mundgefühl. Vollmundig, langer, mild säuerlicher Abgang. Gut! 11/12/12/11/10/12

2022/2023 version 5% abv. Golden orange with a lively head that fizzes off quick. Big peach notes from the get go. Funk and acidity with some stone fruit, as well. But the star is the juicy peach which is both tart and fresh. Lovely.

Pours clear, yet very dark blonde. Small white head fades fast. Scent is Apricot heavy, but very funky, woody lambic underneath somehow has a certain upperhand. very natural, mature and raw, unlike the smoothness from for instance Fou Foune, this one is all about rawness. Taste is full, lambic-focussed for sure, but apricot shines trough nicely. Has a sulphuric impression to it. Again, raw and rough, mature and somehow, very well balanced. Perhaps it used to be a bit more fruity when more fresh, but at this specific point, I'm rather happy with it just the way it is !

Tart and sour, dry, fruity. Raspberry, hint of citrus, woody funk. Low acidity, smooth, very nice.

(Bottle, 2018 vintage - a sample, at Pien Shop, 20250718) The beer poured amber and clear. No head. Aroma had wood, malts, sourness and fruits. Palate was medium bodied mouth watering and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were tartness, fruitiness, nectarine, sourness, honey from malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was dry, tart and bitter. A pleasant combination of fruits and the tart beer.

Drunk whilst my chicken wings are smoking, under the new mini pergola to keep my grill dry in rain and snow. Medium gold, no head, sour and slightly funky nose. Flavor is smooth, notes of stone fruits and apple. Moderate sour character, not overwhelming, maybe a 6 out of 10 on the sour which is a good spot to be. Moderately complex, very tasty.

Bottle.

A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, off white head.

A- Apple skins, hay, funk, dust, barnyard.

F- Hay, funk, oak, dusty, lemon.

T- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, funky finish.

O- Okay, lots of funk and perhaps a touch unbalanced. Drank it with about 4 years of age. No doubt that played some factor.
