Description
We are dedicated to the entire experience of craft; from our creative food menu to our unique beers. The adventure started with creating a perfect beer, and we have kept that focus since our opening in 2005 with 31 combined rotating taps plus hard cider and a variety of wines. The Saugatuck Brewing Company (SBC) has a large family friendly pub, outside patio plus a secondary tap room dubbed “The Barrel Room” for multiple different dining and drinking experiences in one building. We operate on a 45 barrel Brew System with 960 barrels of Fermentation Space and the ability to age over 400 wood barrels at one time.

Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 2 months past BBE. Light cloudy dark gold with small white top. Slightly yeasty aroma with grains and a light dankness. Taste of grains, some orange zest, lemon curd, crackers. Soft medium body, tingly carbonation. Interesting beer, it only half works but I enjoyed it. Its a very odd choice through to advertise as a gateway beer to craft as it really is not suited.

Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 12 months past BBE. Pours a dark amber-brown, small beige head which fades quite quickly. Aroma of toffee, nuts, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste starts with sweet malts and caramel then nuts and chocolate and a light toastiness and moderate bitterness. Very nice indeed.

Can from lowcostbeer. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with small white head. Aroma of fragrant stone fruits, citrus, some caramel. It has a smooth sweet and slightly syrupy malt character, with apricot and orange coming through and a moderate bitterness. A little simple but certainly tasty.

Can from lowcostbeer. Pours near black, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, liquorice, lactose, strawberry confectionary. Taste is quite sweet at first with the ice cream flavourings coming through, particularly chocolate and strawberry. A little artificial. Quite a roasty and coffee noted bitter finish. Mixed.
