12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold with an off-white head. Resinous, spicy, and grapefruit aromas. Flavors of grapefruit and spicy hops with a bitter finish. Just a decent IPA.

bomber - Pours hazy light copper with a lingering white head and a hop aroma that includes very nice citrus notes. The flavor is long on those citrus hops and includes substantial sweet malt to balance it. Crisp hops linger on the palate of this medium bodied brew. Good IPA.

Light copper coloured body with a minor amber glow and a VERY large, dense tan head - that explodes from the bottle once you start pouring! Aroma of grapefruity and piney hops with a good bit of dryness in the aroma along with some malt and a bit of apricots. Medium-bodied; Sharp sweetness up front with a lot of character and honey flavour at first, then fades to a ridiculously hopped midpoint with floral and piney hops noticeable with a bitter and resiny finish. Aftertaste shows a LOT of hop bitterness, some dryness on the palate and a lot of grassy and floral tastes. Overall, a very very potent IPA with a ton of hops, not balanced by the malt. So, if you want a really hopped IPA that you can taste for a long time afterwards - this is yours, plus it is available in small bottles and doesn’t have the alcohol of an Imperial IPA - this is definitely worth trying, just pour it slowly! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 06-November-2010 for US$1.69, sampled at home in Washington on 14-December-2010.

Sampled from the tap at the 2010 MBG Fall Fest. Poured a near clear gold orange with a white head that lasted throughout the beer.. Aroma was full of pine an citrus with a slight sweet malt backing. Flavor was pine throughout without much else coming through and ever becoming a bit dank in the finish.

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting courtesy of jsquire - Pours light amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is very mild hops. It tastes moderately bitter with caramel malt. To my surprise this one’s a little astringent on the palate so I don’t think the flavors came together quite right. It finishes bitter, but not unpleasant.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy brown with a yellow brown head that lasted and laced a bit. Aroma was a combination of sweet grains and roasted malts. Flavor was similar with some dark grains in the beginning, but finish is sweet with roasted malts throughout.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber body, thin off-white head. Nose of floral, spicy hops and bready malts. Caramely body, not too sweet, with soapy, floral hops and burned fruitskin. Bitter, spicy finish.

Bottle. Hazy straw-orange body, pillowy, thick buff head. Bitter, spicy, floral hops nose with some citrus; dry. Soft body dominated by piny, spicy hops, backed by a modest bready malt backbone. Nothing original, yet no significant flaws. A pleasant sipper that will likely find itself lost among a sea of equally competent, if uninspired, rivals.
