(bottle) Hazy yellow-orange colour with a thick foamy white head. Yeasty nose of banana and clove. Soft carbonated, light to medium bodied. Malty taste with a fruity and spicy note. The finish is refreshing and has a spicy clove note but is a bit bland and thin.

Draught
Hazy orange color, small off-white head. Lemony nose. Light to medium-bodied, refreshing. Crisp, orange-lemonade and wheat flavor. Easy to drink hefeweizen, lacks depth - quite standard.

Bottle
Orange amber colour, fleeting tanned head. Wooden and ashen apricot aroma wraped in cardboardy malt. Wood and caramel malty flavors, some fruit notes, H2O exit - overall pretty boring. Medium bodied, wellagered mouthfeel.

Bottle: Hazy, dark amber coloured; not very impressive fruity (bananas), yeasty nose with some hints of alcohol; slightly malty-fruity taste, weak fruity aftertaste with only a tinge of hoppiness; quite thin bodied, almost watery; where is the rye ? Boring !

(bottle) Murky brown colour with a small diminishing of-white head. Very fruity (banana) and yeasty rye aroma. Slightly malty taste with banana notes, but a decent soft and yeasty finish. Thin bodied & unbalanced but drinkable.

Bottle. Sweet banana and clove aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head - clear. Wheat malt flavor primarily with slight banana esters. On the watery side but that’s pretty typical of the style. One of the better Kristalls

Perfect cloudy light orange/yellow. The aroma could be stronger, but has the right banana yeast. Interesting flavour with some acidity and sweetness fighting for dominance. Some spice (clove, cinnamon) in the aftertaste.

Clear brown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, some hop. Taste is sweet, caramel and roasted malts. Quite ordinary dunkel, good balance though.

Very decent pilsener, urtyp style, which probably tries to resemble the classic bohemian pilsener style, at least that is what Brand Urtyp tries to achieve. But anyway, nice pilsener, bitter, hoppy, but good smelling as i’m not used to in most German pilseners.
