Time capsule beer with events today as I drink this golden coloured brew including a Gaza aid ship apparently attacked off the coast of Malta. Reform party upset the duopoly in UK local elections and Germany's second largest parliamentary party declared a right-wing extremist organisation by the country's own intelligence agency. This Oktoberfest effort is from the latter mentioned country and is an interesting ale-like beer - hoppy, good yeasts in both aroma and taste, good body.

Bottle, 0.0%. Mild lemon aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Ok stable white head. The flavour is sweet and citric. Quite acidic actually. Unclean finish. 3 3 3 3 4 / 6 3 3 6 2

Klare strohgelbe Farbe, relativ feinporige stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase unverkennbar ein Alkoholfreies, süßlich-malzig und leicht pappig, dazu leicht zitrisch. Im Geschmack deutlich besser, weich, wenig Kohlensäure, getreidig, leichte Säure, nicht zu intensive Süße. Ziemlich süffig.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht hopfig, leicht getreidig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle. I’m not a big pilsner fan but this was not bad. Bright golden color. Good hop and malt balance with not too much bitterness. Cereal aroma. Good beer.

Bottle. I love doppelbock beers and this as good as it gets. Dark amber color. Large head that disappears quickly. Malty, sweet, raisin, slight alcohol. Really good beer.

Bottle. Extremely disappointed with this one. Skunky aroma. Taste like a cheap pilsner. Clear gold color. Some head.
