Bottle from the brewery. It pours chunky muddy dark brown with a darkest tan head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, really nice coffee, bitter, umami, toasted coconut, smoke and charred vibes. The taste is dry, thick, rich roasted malt, charred, umami, burnt toast, bitter - sweet, toasted coconut, coconut milk, smoked action, big coffee vibes, umami, burnt toast and peppery spice with a dry, toasty finish. Full body, fine carbonation and thick mouth-feel. Really expected this to be very sweet, but it just wasn't. It ain't a looker though. Novel.

6/6/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! Pours clear pale yellow gold with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, hop, touch of herb and yeast. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, a little thin. Not exciting but it’s ok.

More sour than ipa. Fruity and citrusy, sour and tart. Fresh and spritzy. Nice.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, brett, fruit, and malt. The flavor is a bit sour with notes of citrus fruits, brett, dusty hops, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Can: Poured a unclear yellow with a white whispery head. Aroma is citrus and lemon zest, some hops. Taste is citrus, grain, underlying hops.

Tap pour at Industry Tap, Sheffield. Pours unclear orange golden with no head. Aroma: sweet, tangy, candy, bubblegum, apricot. Plenty of Iron Bru character. Taste: moderate sweet, light tartness, gentle lactic, sugary, fruity, juicy. Medium body with no visible carbonation. Dry-ish finish. A decent fun beer
