Can courtesy of Kostas, Kykao brewery, cheers Kostas. Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to The Orb - Buddhist Hipsters. Pours yello, hazy filmy white head. Aroma is very much like our fruit salad this morning and that had, passion fruit, pineapple, papaya, cape gooseberry, orange, apple etc, the passion fruit stands out here. In the mouth it's similar, lots of tropical fruit, overipe at times, juicy, sweet and with a hoppy buzz. Score 7.4

0.45l (!) can, huge thanks F&L! MH 2026 tasting. Hazy pale golden body, off-white head. Enormous sweet tropical fruit aroma, heaps of passion fruit and papaya. Passion fruit and papaya continue into the taste, blending with spruce, ending a bit dull, dryish, minerally and grainy, bitterish finish. The balance is odd, but gotta respect the fruity profile. The body betrays it in the end, more astringent than juicy, but this is a decent one!

CBJ Tasting. Cloudy muddy lighter brown. Looks like an accident. No head. Aroma is light and creamy. Chewy caramel and a bitter edge. Flavourwise kinda similar. Thick. Creamy with melted bits. Flat. Long dry finish.

Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to me. A muddy puddle colour beer or, the you know that time you had a dodgy curry... No real head. Airy dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Fairly nutty, a touch of milk chocolate. A little nut liqueur and booze. Light and semi dry finish. Interesting....

Bottle at the CBJ tasting, picked up in Athens, 29/01/2026.
Murky reddish brown with a limited head ... looks shit!
Nose is dark malts, light spice, tangy fruit esters.
Taste comprises nutty tones, herb, dark malts, touch of Nutella.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light trace of barrel and kiss of alcohol.
So so offering ... very scatter gun and disjointed.

Bottle thanks for sharing Fin. Red oranges, low head. Sherry, wood and brett aromatic, light raspberry and roses, medium body, chewy, light foaming, Honey, flowery, dusty wood finish, really nice.

Bottle, thanks Fin. Rhubarb red, mostly clear. Sweet raspberry, rose, wood, boozy. But it tastes allrigth, although slightly too sweet.

Can, thank you Fin! Pors dark red to purple, low head. Light coppery berry skin aroma mixed with mango/durian. Medium body, dry clay, chalk mouthfeel. Fruits soften the minerals up a bit, strawberry and tropical creme, restrained tartness. Fine hop bitterness in the finish, elderflower and strawberry retronasal. Unusual flavor combination - which almost works.
