Very hazy gold - amber beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and and a little crisp. Mild creamy malt and minerals. Nice hops - there is sweet peach -mango with a trace of orange. Mild bitterness. Finishes smooth and dry. Very drinkable.

Smell of hops. Amber colour, hazy, small beige head. Aroma of hops, citrus, spruce. Bitter. Very flat carbon, overall soft palate. Very balanced.

Bottle from Theatre of Wine, Greenwich. Cloudy orange pour with a white head. Sweet spice, citrus and pepper aroma. Flavours of citrus, coriander and light spice. Quite dry. Dry, bitter finish.

27/03/2013 Ma che siete venuti a fà (handpump). Ambrata, piuttosto torbida, schiuma biancastra morbida a bolle grossolane, poco persistente. Al naso leggero sentore metallico che sparisce pian piano, molto debole, il luppolo fatica a venir fuori. In bocca va un po’ meglio, è discretamente amara, peccato per la presenza eccessiva di lieviti che la rovina un po’. Corpo leggero, discreta beva. Un po’ troppo leggerina e "sporca", andrebbe rifinita.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - 230214, at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20120324) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had black currant leaves, fruitiness, nettles and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, black currant leaves, sweetness, citricness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty, bitter and mildy boozy. A very good double IPA. The alcohol was well hidden and the balance between malts and hops was good.

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is hop, chocolate, roasted malt, fruit. Flavour is hop, chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, fruit. Medium body. Nice beer.
