In Leeuwarden was aan de Slauerhoffweg de opslag en tonnenzaal, totdat er in 2020 een eigen brouwboerderij werd ingericht in Bartlehiem. De brouwerij heeft hier de beschikking over een kleine installatie. In de Brouwboerderij worden de nieuwe bieren ontwikkeld en de wilde bieren gebrouwen zoals de Bretttûne.

0,3 l bottle. Red golden in the glass, slightly cloudy with a steady nearly two finger light beige head. Looks really good. Toasted grainy aroma, bready. Taste starts with toasted grain, also citrus fruity. Increasing pale grain in the middle section. Soft but present sugared. Dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Above average carbonated. Big thank you to Torsten & Daniel for this really nice one.

Bottle. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee notes, fruity blueberry and blackberry, sweetish notes, vinuous hints. Taste: Complex mix of fruity and light sour blueberries and blackberries, roasted malt, coffee hints, subtle Port notes, sweetish honey notes. Lightly boozy. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Well balanced flavors. Nice one.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange, large foamy white head. Aroma: Malty, yeasty, fruity esters, spicy hints. Taste: Malty, yeasty, very fruity (ripe apricots, hints of pear and banana), spicy notes. Hopbitterness coming in towards and at the finish. Long lasting dry finish. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Bit foamy mouthfeel. Over moderate to medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Very enjoyable Saison.

Bottle, directly from brewery. Color: Slightly hazy amber, large off-white head. Aroma: Malty, yeasty, spicy notes. Taste: Dark malt, yeasty, spicy, notes of fruity esters (stone fruit, banana, citrus). Dry-ish mouthfeel. Medium body, above average carbonation. Long lasting finish. Pretty nice Saison.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy copper, very thin beige head. Aroma: Raisins, some caramel, vinuous notes. Taste: Raisins, vinuous, dark malt, hints of roasted malt, sweetish dessert wine notes, caramel, sugary hints. Just over medium body, low carbonation. Boozy hints. Hints of hop at the background. Long lasting finish. Nice.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Deep amber colour, small beigeish foamy head. Aroma is caramel, some whisky and vanilla with oaked and some mild alcohol tones. Flavour is fruity floral, dried fruits, some wood and mild whisky tones with a bit vanilla tones. Somewhat alcohol tones to it as well.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! --Clear coppery mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of brown sugar with a touch of peat. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Brown sugar avd caramel. Intense alcohol meets mild peat in the finish.

Bottle from suermarket in Friesland. Color: Black mocha head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee, herbal notes. Taste: Liquorice, roasted malt, subtle herbal notes, boozy and coffee hints. Full body, below average carbonation. Moderate sweet and moderate to over moderate bitterness. Nice.
